Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels/ Private Tour (B)

The morning visit starts with the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation areas, and schools, and served as a strategic military base for the Viet Cong during the American War. In the afternoon, visit the Reunification Palace, a historic landmark closely tied to the events of the Vietnam War. Explore its well-preserved rooms and halls, once home to the former South Vietnamese government. The palace’s architecture and historical exhibits offer an insightful look into Vietnam’s modern history. Continue to the Old Saigon Post Office, a beautifully preserved example of French colonial architecture. Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the building features a spacious hall with elegant wooden detailing and classic tiled floors, making it both a functioning post office and an iconic symbol of old Saigon. Afterwards, take a stroll along Nguyen Hue Walking Street, one of the city's most vibrant public spaces. Lined with cafés, shops, and historic buildings, the promenade offers great photo opportunities and a relaxed atmosphere. If time allows, we will visit Ben Thanh Market, a bustling local market offering souvenirs, handicrafts, textiles, and local snacks. On arrival at My Tho, after visiting Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely cruise on the Tien River to view the four beautiful islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Boats pass by the fish rafts along the Tien River, overlooking the Rach Mieu Bridge. Stroll along the village road, visit the orchard and enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music" performed by locals. Riding a hand-rowed sampan through the Tan Thach canal. Then visit the coconut candy mill and take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant (lunch at your own expense); then the motorboat will take you back to the cruise. Meet on the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta, and you are guaranteed to take home your private collection of beautiful memories. Join our speed boat for a sightseeing tour of the four most famous islands south of Phu Quoc. Xuong Island (or Buom Island): go snorkeling to take in the amazing coral reefs. A small, untouched island with a great variety of lively coral species will make you fascinated. Gam Ghi Island: continue snorkeling in the wilderness. This is one of the biggest coral reefs and has a wide range of coral species in Phu Quoc. May Rut Trong Island: lunch - check-in - chilling out by the beach. Swim in turquoise water, feel the ocean's cool breeze, relax on a sunbed, and order your favorite drinks. There are many photo spots for taking great pictures. Enjoy lunch on the island.
